Your data, shared and secured
Your space is on the cloud, behind a firewall and it is only accessible to you.
You can share your data with a few team members to whom you can give editing access.
You can share your data with colleagues by providing them access to your data, with read-only mode.
You can share your data, or part of your data, by publishing it on a static website.
Static Website
A notebook can be published as a static website, exactly as you laid it out. Publishing is not a separate authoring job; it’s a projection of what you already have. Pages are free form: what you see while editing is exactly what a reader sees. There is no template to fill in and no required structure.
A static web site is a site that contains every page as HTML documents. Static web sites don't need specific applications to run. Any browser can display them. Static websites are here to stay.
You can reserve access to your web site to your team, or your company by opting for the "restricted" option. Only users who know the login credentials -- one user name and one password for all -- will be granted access.
You can also opt for the no-javascript options, if you need more security. You won't get a search engine, but your data will be extremely safe.
